This text is the first of three on fish diseases and disorders. This volume provides a review of the major diseases of fish caused by protozoan and metazoan parasites. It is aimed at zoologists and veterinary parasitologists, as well as those concerned with practical aquaculture and fish farming. Two further volumes (on viral, bacterial and fungal infections, and on noninfectious disorders) are planned for publication in 1996.
